A small town girl in a big city world
Goodbye 2005 Happy 2006
2005 was a very eventful year for me. I finished off a college degree, packed up little Betsy and came to the big city of Ottawa. As proclaimed in an emotional New Years speech last night (which was intensified by the deliciously bubbly champagne) I may not have gotten through these last 7 months without my wonderful new friends Aubree and her beau have definately made the transition much easier.(not to mention Gemma and Clem)
2005 was a very interesting year. Here are some of the events that occured throughout the past year that will not be forgotten:
2005 was a very interesting year. Here are some of the events that occured throughout the past year that will not be forgotten:
- my good bye surprise party in Moncton that scared the be-jeezes out of me
- the closing of Rainbow Valley
- the discovery of the world according to Trent (go pink!)
- the beginning of my new career (complete with my first business card)
- getting lost in Gatineau park
- being forgotten on Thanksgiving day (complete with yam casserole and 7UP)
- Gary Bell and Taco Johnny (who will definately be party of 2006 as well)
- and, of course what I'd like to call "the night I hugged the parking meter while shoe-less"
